Empower Your Dream Life

Welcome back! I appreciate you and your support. You can still subscribe to my RSS Feed Thanks for visiting! Have an awesome day!

It’s all within your reach.  In fact, the power to create your Dream Life is inside of you, waiting for you to remember it.  We are all born with a unique gift to be shared with the world.  Discovering your gift will open the doors to your Dream Life so you can share it with the world.

Dream Life

We are meant to be the best that we can be, not settle for a mediocre existence.  Yes, it takes courage, faith, belief and strong convictions to convince your biggest detractor that you’re worth it.  Can you guess who that is?  Look in the mirror.  YOU are your own biggest stumbling block when it comes to achieving the Life of your Dreams.

So are you going to allow that?  What empowering steps can you take to move towards your Dream Life?  May I share another tool to add to your repertoire?

As our Mastermind group explores Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, we are discovering steps to empower and create our Dream Lives.  One very powerful step to utilize is creating a Desire Statement or Self-Talk Statement.  This statement sends a message to your subconscious mind, informing it of your Dream Life.  Your subconscious mind will then work to present opportunities to accomplish this.  Remember, your subconscious does not distinguish between reality and desire.  If you focus on something, your subconscious will accept it as fact.

How to Write Your Desire Statement

Your Desire Statement may take several different forms.  Use whatever resonates for you.  Some people write out a sentence or two with their desires.  Others may use short, statements, quotes, or passages from scripture.

There are a few basic guidelines to follow in creating this statement.

Basic Guidelines:

  • Write in present tense as if you are living the life you desire.
  • Use powerful, emotion-laden words that lift your vibrations.
  • Be bold and reach for the sky, don’t settle for anything less.
  • Read this statement at least twice a day, when first awakening and just before retiring for the evening.

And most importantly, have faith that this will come to pass.  Take inspired action to create what you desire.  Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you ARE worth it because you are!  Believe it with your whole being.

Share Your Dream

To create even higher vibrations around your Dream Life, share your dreams with those who will support and encourage you.  You can do this through the written word or verbally.  Here is my statement:

I am a Life Coach who supports people in their journey to discover their Dream Life.  This fulfills my desire to assist people in clarifying and defining what they desire.  Because of this, I am able to support the non-profit organization I created to empower women to seek their Dream Life.  I feel empowered to facilitate changes in the world, one person at a time – beginning with me.  I arrive at the end of each day feeling grateful, exhilarated, connected and amazed at the powers within the Universe.

A good friend and fellow blogger, Edward Elliott, has created a platform on his website which allows people to share their Dream Life with the world.  This encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and share my Dream Life vision with you.  It’s so invigorating and empowering to put it out there!  Creating this has really stepped up my game.  My commitment to bring my dream into reality has become stronger.

I encourage you to take that step yourself and share your Dreams and Visions here.  I know everyone will support you and cheer you on.  Come on, what are you waiting for?

I would love to hear your dreams and visions.  Feel free to share your thoughts by commenting below.  Let’s start building some positive energy by sharing this with your Facebook and Twitter friends.  Just click on one of the buttons at the beginning of this post to accomplish that.
Here’s to your Dreams and Visions!

Thank you so much for reminding me about this concept.
I used to use this and preach it to my sales people when I ran a sales company. But like most things you stop doing them and then when things stop working you forget what it was you used to do that made you successful. This was definitely one of the things that helped me become a top distributor. Belief in my own ability and I only believed in me because I told myself how good I was everyday.

    Hey Val,
It is so good to see you on the video. Thanks for sharing as you always do. I have been applying these principals for years now. The best way is to write them down. When I have a client that has blocks in prosperity or love issues, and has a repeated behavior of that – I tell them to write on their bathroom mirror with red lipstick “I ACCEPT” That’s how we start. Why? Because what is the first thing yo do when you wake up? Go right into the bathroom, wash your face and look in that mirror. I tell them to leave it there for 30 days. Sound silly doesn’t it? But it is a first step to introduce them to writing down more.
Hint Hint….I wrote down a “I want a man that…” list 20 years ago and out popped David. I manifested him and we are still on our honeymoon. So there you have it. My story of how it works!
    Thanks Val!

Thanks for your wonderful sharing with us.
I love your video. Your words are powerful in your post.
I do feel very close to you and am allowing myself to
share with you an important point:
Although, the sentence ‘I am going to write a book.’ is in present tense, its meaning is future – indicates it is not done yet, the book will be written but it is not yet.
You very eloquently put it in your post – in the points of what is important to have in our statements.
The most powerful way to say it is ‘I write books.’ instead of ‘I am going to write a book.’. The form ‘going to’ makes it in the future and this manifests – it will always feel very close but still not done and in the future.
