What’s Your Focus

Welcome to my Blog! Feel free to leave a comment on the post. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting. Have an awesome day!

Are you truly focusing on your achieving your desires and visions or is there something holding you back?

You are passionate about creating your Dream Life.Focus Whats Your Focus

You have completed your Desire Statement and repeat it daily.

You are conscious of holding positive thoughts.

You have mapped out short-term goals along your journey.

You feel like you’ve aligned your beliefs with your vision of your ideal life.

Yet something’s not quite jelling, there’s a piece missing.

This may be caused by limiting beliefs.  Your focus is split between two opposing beliefs.  These limiting beliefs are competing with your stated desires.  Many times, these limiting beliefs are a product of something that occurred in your childhood.  An event in your past has caused you to create certain “truths” about yourself.  These “truths” are really a product of your perceptions and are not actual truths.  Yet your subconscious mind has built these beliefs into defense mechanisms.  They have become a part of who you are and what you think, whether you realize it or not.

You may have become aware of these limiting beliefs by now.  Even though you think you have identified the cause and have developed an understanding of how this affects you, you still cannot seem to get over that hurdle.

Whatever we focus on persists

In actuality, your focus on these issues has not supported you in moving forward.  By pushing against these beliefs, you are making them stronger.  Since their conception in your past, your subconscious mind has used these limiting beliefs as a basis for many everyday reactions.  Whenever anything occurs in your life that feels uncomfortable or scary, your subconscious automatically attempts to direct you away from these circumstances instead of allowing you to move through them.

Do you realize that every negative thought or feeling you have ever experienced is held within the cellular structure of your body?  This is the cause of many illnesses and discontent for some people.  The emotional energies you’ve attached to these past events are also blocking you in achieving what you say you want.

On the outside, you look successful, content and on the move.  Yet inside are feelings that are not supporting you.  You may have developed coping mechanisms or strategies to mitigate the feelings you would rather not feel.  This blocks your pathway.  Because of the energies associated with these limiting beliefs, you will not succeed until you let go of these energetic connections.

Letting go

There are many techniques you can learn to support your growth along your journey.  I encourage you to utilize them.  Sometimes that’s not enough.  You may not possess the skills necessary to understand and clear these limiting beliefs on your own.  That may be the time to look for a person who has training in this field.

Just recently, I came up against some limiting beliefs that I thought I had addressed before.  In reality, I was only coping with them – and not very efficiently.  All sorts of conflicting emotions were holding me back from moving forward.  I was in need of outside support.  Someone who was skilled in clearing these emotional barriers.

A good friend of mine, Sandhan, has recently completed a course in EmMatrix.  This course taught how to facilitate an emotional clearing.

Emotional clearing is the process by which you peel off the layers of your emotional blocks, transforming dense energies of anger, shame and guilt etc. becoming conscious of them and in the case of EmMatrix, appreciating the positive messages they have to share.

After completing a session with Sandhan, I noticed a huge shift in my perceptions.  I have released the old limiting beliefs which were not serving me.  In their place are empowering beliefs that will support me in creating my Dream Life.

All I can say is WOW!  If I had not experienced this first-hand, I would not have believed such results were possible.  Through her supporting guidance, I discovered my true self.  I now feel balanced and ready to create the momentum necessary to achieve my dreams.

If you are not achieving the results you want in life, you owe it to yourself to hop on over and check out Sandhan’s site.  Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.  An open mind and a desire to improve yourself combined with this technique may be just what you are looking for.

As always, I would love to hear your thoughts on this.  Please share your comments in the box below.  If this resonates with you, feel free to share this with your Twitter and Facebook friends by using the buttons located at the beginning of this post.

Have an awesome day!

HEY VAL! I like the part of Letting Go. That is so important to clear the energies. When we let go, we make room for the things we are trying to create in our lives.
When people hold on, it blocks them from creating that positive flow.

    Hi Val,
Over the weekend, I experienced some of the emotional cleansing and letting go you write about in this post.

After nearly four years of living in this house, I decided it was time to rearrange my bedroom. Move every piece of furniture to a different place and give the room a whole new feel. With a very heavy armoire to move along with a queen sized bed, this was no small undertaking for me by myself! However, I leveraged some tricks I learned years ago about how to move large pieces of furniture without breaking my back or ripping my arms out of their sockets. (You put pieces of thick cardboard under the furniture and slide it easily to its new spot.)

Anyway, after two days of moving, cleaning, dusting, and throwing out junk I found stuffed under the bed and in various piles around the room, my whole being felt lighter and more free. The act of rearranging the furniture helped me let go of some old emotions I was holding on to from when I first moved in to the house.

I now recommend rearranging furniture to anyone looking to loosen up and let go of old emotional junk hanging around! It works! :)

Val, In my counseling sessions I use two types of somatic body psychotherapy which help clients to become aware of tensions in their body, to gradually allow the various body parts to let go (neck, shoulder, arms, legs), to allow their self to relax and let go of all that mind clutter. The two methods are The Rubenfeld Synergy Method of talk and touch and the Craniosacral method of somatoemotional release. I have experienced, over and over, how powerful it is to acknowledge your true feelings, to express them and to let them go. Then the brain finds a new pathway, a new way of viewing the same life situations.
